28 Hour Reactivation Course
This new course is required for those who have let their license lapse for more than 12 months but less than 24 months. This status is called Involuntary Inactive and can be checked on the DBPR website . If your license has lapsed for less than 12 months you can take the 14 hour continuing education course. Don't let your license go without renewing for the 24 month period or you will have to do the whole licensing process all over again.

License News
License renewal fees are up to $85 for Sales Associates and $95 for Brokers & Corporations. The DBPR (State) will send you a renewal notice 60 - 90 days prior to your expiration date with the amount due. Always make sure you give DBPR your current address. Your Broker or Association will have the form for you. If this is your first renewal than you must do the Post Licensing class before your expiration date. You can make your payment late and not lose your license(add $45 for Late Fee). If you are renewing for the second time or after you may be late on the class completion and payment however your status will change to Involuntary inactive until you bring your license current and you can not work during that period.
